Books for the Catholic Woman

I love reading and am always recommending books to people. Want to start a conversation with me? Tell me about the book you're reading, or your favorite series. Never ask me what my favorite book is, because I don't know. There's too many to choose from!

But here's a few of my favorite books that I'd recommend to any Catholic (or non-Catholic!) woman.

Books I've read:

  • Go Bravely: Becoming the Woman You were Created to Be by Emily Wilson Hussem
  • The Other Side of Beauty: Embracing God's Vision for Love and True Worth by Leah Darrow
  • How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul by Jason and Crystalina Evert
  • Loved as I Am: An Invitation to Conversion, Healing, and Freedom Through Jesus by
  • Does God Exist?: A Socratic Dialogue on the Five Ways of Thomas Aquinas by Matt Fradd
Books I've yet to read, but heard from reliable sources, are pretty good:
  • Essays on Woman by Edith Stein*
  • The Privilege Of Being a Woman by Alice von Hildebrand
  • Girl, Arise! A Catholic Feminist's Invitation to Live Boldly, Love Your Faith, and Change the World by Claire Swinarski
  • The Story of a Soul by Therese of Leseuix*
  • Dressing with Dignity by Colleen Hammond
  • Not of this World: A Catholic's Guide to Minimalism by Sterling Jaquith
  • Interior Castle by Teresa of Avila*

* Book is written by a canonized Saint

Thanks for stopping by!
